Hello parents of Sigma Nu men! The University of Washington Gamma Chi chapter is having an incredible year. The fraternity’s reputation at the UW as a house with intelligent, mature, and principled young men is gaining attention. The strength of our Fall and Winter pledge class is an excellent example of the type of young man that chooses Sigma Nu. All Sigma Nu men are to be recognized for their leadership and integrity for recruiting our 2008-2009 growing pledge class. We are pleased to welcome these outstanding young men and their families to Sigma Nu.
For those families who are new to the Sigma Nu Fraternity, we are the Sigma Nu Parent Club. Our goal is to make Sigma Nu a great place to live! We provide gifts to the house (i.e. furniture, exercise equipment, network computers, etc.) finals week meals, holiday decorations, parent functions and moral support. We welcome your participation! We certainly have a wonderful group of young men and supportive and caring parents. Thank you in advance for any help you are able to provide.
Elections have been completed and the New Positions include:
Eminent Commander- Matt Halliday
Lieutenant Commander- Scott Cairns
Treasurer- Chris Locke
Recorder- Sean Mayes
Rush Chairman- Jordan Veres and Matt St John

The membership continues to grow and thrive on campus due to the hard work of every brother in the house who helps maintain not only the physical appearance of the fraternity, but the reputation of the Sigma Nu fraternity by acting with integrity and maturity.

Sigma Nu Parent Club Annual Dues
These funds benefit your sons throughout the year in many ways, and any contributions would be greatly appreciated by the men of Sigma Nu.
These funds are used to provide gifts to the house such as furniture, lamps, carpeting, and defray some of the expenses for finals week meals. So far this year the Sigma Nu Parent Club has purchased a network computer for the House, industrialized fan, pull-up bar, mail box sorter, weight room scale, air/purifiers & fans for the sleeping porch, Halloween candy, giant calendar, and a Wireless Access point for the basement level and an Internet Router.
(Dues are not mandatory, just really appreciated.) Thank you.
Please support your son in the brotherhood by joining the Parent’s Club, paying those dues and helping house projects become realities!
Thanks to all the parents for their time and generosity during the house holiday decorating party, and to all of those who contributed dinners during the Fall quarter Finals Week. Parents volunteered in record numbers to take turns cooking during the week. The dinners were wonderful, and very much appreciated!
Winter Quarter Finals are March 16-20th. Volunteers are needed to prepare dinner on Sunday, March 15th through Thurs., March 19th.
New member Moms/Dads, we would love for you to join the fun! Our feedback is that the moms and/or dads have a great time doing this and the boys are very grateful and love the TLC. If you are interested in bringing dinner during finals week, please fill out the form included. Thank You!
We know it is hard for those of you who live far away, but any thoughts or ideas that you have are always welcomed and appreciated. Please feel free to contact me with your ideas and suggestions for fundraising.
