Sigma Nu means supporting and being supported by brothers. Whether it's a helping hand with a tough course, advice on a personal problem, or involvement in campus activities, Sigma Nu can make a difference in your life. Our close-knit brotherhood is the foundation of our fraternity. In addition, through L.E.A.D. candidates learn the basic skills to excel in college and beyond.
However, we realize that college is a time to have fun. We pride ourselves on having a very well balanced house. We participate in IMA sports every quarter, hold social events, perform community service, but still excel in school. Above all, we maintain a standard to keep our house GPA above both the UW all men's average GPA and the all fraternity average GPA.
Although some fraternities haze, we are a strictly non-hazing fraternity. Hazing is against the founding principles of our fraternity. Our chapter is no exception; we treat our candidates like men--not boys.
